Identifying Your Browser

Click the attachment at the bottom of this article to access a pdf that describes how a user can locate the version of the browser they are using.

Clearing the Cache

When encountering loading issues, clearing the cache can help resolve them. Instructions for each browser are included below.

Chrome

  1. In the address bar, type or copy and paste: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. In the Clear browsing data pop-up window, click Advanced.
  3. In the Time range drop-down menu, choose the applicable period for which you wish to clear cached information.
    • To clear your entire cache, select All time.
  4. Select the following:
    • Browsing history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  5. Click Clear data.
  6. Close all browser windows, then reopen to continue using the browser as normal.

Edge

  1. In the address bar, type or copy and paste: edge://history/all
  2. Click Clear browsing data.
  3. In the Time range drop-down menu, choose the applicable period for which you wish to clear cached information.
    • To clear your entire cache, select All time.
  4. Select the following:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  5. Click the Clear Now button.
  6. Once the menu closes, close all browser windows, then reopen to continue using the browser as normal.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu button and select Settings.
  2. Select Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data.
  4. Select the following:
    • Cookies and Site Data
    • Cached Web Content
  5. Click Clear.
  6. Close all browser windows, then reopen to continue using the browser as normal.

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, select
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Click the Manage Website Data…
  4. To clear the cache for PensionPro 2.0, select it from the list of available websites, then click the Remove
    • To clear the cache for all websites, click the Remove All
  5. Click the Done
  6. Close all browser windows, then reopen to continue using the browser as normal.
