Frequently Asked Questions

When I try to use Navigation Assistance from the Web app, I get an "Invalid resource request" error message. I never received this error on the Desktop. Why?
The requirements for enabling Navigation Assistance changed in PensionPro 2.0. Previously, the page that a Navigation Assistance link would take a user to depended on whether or not the user was already signed into ftwilliam.com. Now, Navigation Assistance links will always automatically sign a user in to ftwilliam.com. However, this functionality requires a user's ftwilliam.com username to be added to their Employee tab, along with some other configurations. Refer to the Getting Started section of this article for details.

The Navigation Assistance link is not taking me to the correct page in ftwilliam.com.
This commonly happens when the correct page does not exist. For example, the 5500 option cannot open the 5500 page in FTW if no 5500 has been set up for the combination of Plan and Period year. In this case, the Edit Plan page will be shown instead.
