Converting PensionPro to a web based application has been a top priority of ours so that we may provide you better service and accessibility. Q: When is PensionPro 2.0 Available?
A: PensionPro 2.0 is available now for all users at https://app.pensionpro.com

Q: Is there a pricing increase for PensionPro 2.0?
A: No, there is no price increase for PensionPro 2.0.

Q: Can we still use the Fetch system for reporting?
A: Fetch is not affected with the release of our new web application. All saved queries, security and access are preserved, and the web URL has not changed.

Q: What browsers are supported?
A: PensionPro officially supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Any operating system can now be used to access PensionPro 2.0 as long as it can run one of the four supported browsers.

Q: Will PensionPro 2.0 work on my phone or tablet?
A: Yes, PensionPro 2.0 is accessible via mobile device or tablet. However, due to the size of your display, you may find certain functions difficult to use. 

Q: Is PlanSponsorLink affected by the web application release?
A: No, PlanSponsorLink.com is not affected by the release of the new web application.

Q: How do we submit feedback?
A: To submit feedback, click the smiley face icon in the upper right corner of the web application. Then, click an emoji to rate your experience and enter any details you would like to share.

Q: Is Multi-Factor Authentication available?
A: Yes, MFA functions the same as you are used to in the desktop app.

Q: Do existing integrations for DocuSign and ftwilliam.com still function?
A: Yes, all configurations and functionality has been converted into the new web application.

Q: When will the current desktop application go away?
A: We do not currently have a set time frame for when the desktop application will sunset. However, we will give ample notice before that occurs.

Q: Can users continue to use the desktop app?
A: Yes, you may use both the desktop and web application simultaneously while acclimating to PensionPro 2.0. 

Q: Do security rights automatically translate from the desktop app?
A: Yes, all security rights and roles in PensionPro 2.0 work exactly as they do in the desktop application.

Q: When will the Local Directory link functionality be in place?
A: We are working to leverage the Local Directory link to provide the suggested location to open when uploading and saving files from plans and projects. The existing link displayed on the Plan/General tab will not be functional due to security limitations of using a web browser.

Q: Can I use Hyperlinks in Notes and other places in PensionPro 2.0?
A: Yes, as long as the hyperlink is to a public facing web URL that you have credentials to access.

Q: Where is the Company Directory?
A: The need for a Company Directory has been removed, as an Employees search category has been added. Now, you can locate an employee's details by simply searching for the employee. 

Q: How can I use the URL for a Plan, Project, etc. from PensionPro 2.0?
A: PensionPro 2.0 allows you to copy and paste the URL from nearly any screen in for use in other applications. To do so, open the tab in PensionPro 2.0 for the item you would like to link to. Highlight and copy the URL from your browser and paste it into other applications as you desire. Security rights for accessing the link you shared are enforced no matter which employee you share it with.

Q: Will reporting work the same?
A: Yes, reporting will function the same and use your currently saved filters the same way. You will also notice hyperlinks have been embedded in the reports for common items such as Clients, Plans, Projects and Contacts, making it easier to access data from a report.

Q: Will there be help/training videos for PensionPro 2.0?
A: Yes, keep an eye out for new content. You will also notice all existing help articles have been converted for PensionPro 2.0.

Q: Can I upload multiple files at one time?
A: No, each file uploaded to PensionPro must have unique information in required fields for an upload to be successful. Uploading multiple files at once would not be able to satisfy that requirement.

Q: Has Power Tool access been made more granular?
A: No changes to the security rights have been made as part of the conversion from the desktop app. Changes of this nature can only be made after all users have migrated to the web application so that compatibility is preserved.

Q: Does PensionPro 2.0 log me out after a period of inactivity?
A: PensionPro 2.0 will automatically log users out of the system after an inactivity period of 24 hours.

Q: Will Authorized Computer Management still work as intended?
A: As PensionPro 2.0 will be accessible from any web browser—rather than an installable application—Authorized Computer Management cannot function in its present form. However, alternate 2.0-friendly security options will be made available in the near future.
