PensionPro 2.0 - Sending Blast Email Using SalesPitch Data

Blast Email includes additional Blast Email Types for SalesPitch Prospects and Proposals. Using these Blast Email types, users can utilize merge fields, data filters, and selections with SalesPitch data.

Mailing Type

The mailing type is used to determine Contact, Plan, and Project data needed for selection of appropriate recipients for the Blast Email. Selecting the correct mailing type will verify that the correct Contacts will populate in the Recipients grid for mailing. Mailing types for Proposal Contacts and Prospect Contacts have been added as available options. For more information on Mailing Types and a Blast Email overview, click here.

 

Proposal Contacts – This will provide a list of all Contacts linked to a Proposal in SalesPitch. By selecting this option, the system will prompt the user to enter a From Type. In the dropdown, the user will need to select the From Type, which can be either Static Email Address or Assigned To Employee.  If the user chooses Static Email Address then an email address will need to be entered. If the Assigned to Employee is chosen, then whomever the Proposal is Assigned to will be the Sender.

Choosing the Proposal Contacts allows the user to have access to the following Merge Fields in the Subject & Body step.

  • Contacts – Information contained within the Contact record.
  • Firms – Information regarding the firm including firm name and PSL URL.
  • Investment Providers – Information contained with the Proposal > Investment menu.
  • Opportunities – Information contained within the Opportunity menu.
  • Proposals – Information contained with the Proposal > General Information grid.
  • Senders – Information about the Contact who is sending the email.

In the Filters step, the user will also be able to filter on these fields.

 

Prospect Contacts – This will provide a list of all Contacts linked to a Prospect in SalesPitch. By selecting this option, the system will prompt the user to Enter a From Type. In the dropdown, the user will need to select the From Type, which can be either Static Email Address or Assigned To Employee. If the user chooses Static Email Address then an email address will need to be entered. If the Assigned to Employee is chosen, then whomever the Prospect is assigned to will be the Sender.
