Putting a Plan On Hold

When necessary, PensionPro allows the TPA to place a Plan on hold. When viewing a Plan currently on hold, a warning will display, indicating the reason for the hold. Additionally, some of PensionPro's reports will highlight Plans that are on hold to visually distinguish them.

 

Tier Availability: Team, Business

 

Note: Some items may not be available in all tiers.

 

The on-hold warning is displayed in these locations:

 

  • The Plan tab
  • The Project, Distribution, and Plan Cycle tabs for items under an on-hold Plan
  • The Client tab, if both of the following are true:
    • At least one of the Client's Plans is on hold
    • The Show On Hold Dialog On Client option is enabled in PensionPro Preferences

 


 

Steps for Putting a Plan On Hold

 

Requires Security Rights: Add/Edit Plan

 

  1. Open the Plan in a new tab. If necessary, navigate to the General view.
  2. Select Editedit.png at the top-right of the General Plan Information grid. The corresponding window displays.
  3. Enable the On Hold option.
  4. Select an On Hold Reason.
  5. Select Save.

 

When the Plan is returned to good standing, clear the On Hold option to restore normal functionality.
