Web Collection can be enabled for Projects for Plan Sponsors to complete through PlanSponsorLink.com. Data Collection can be used for plan sponsors to complete Annual Administration Census and Questionnaire information as well as General Web Collection items.

Users can click Maintenance > Templates to access Project Templates in PensionPro. In the Template Summary Details screen, Require Web Data Collection is a setting that enables tremendous functionality in the system. Similarly, when building an Excel Project Template, users should enter 'True' for the Web Collection field. This selection builds the link between projects in PensionPro and the Tasks that can be assigned to Plan Contacts on PlanSponsorLink.com. Any template using Web Collection must have this setting enabled.
Prior to launching Web Collection projects, users should enable and configure their PlanSponsorLink preferences. Detailed information can be found in PlanSponsorLink Preferences.

Project Types
The content of the Data Collection Task Grouping is based on the Project Type. PensionPro has two Project Types with Web Collection functionality: Annual Administration and General Web Collection.
Task Groupings
In all Web Collection Templates, the system requires the initial Task Grouping to be titled Data Collection. The Data Collection Task Group cannot be modified such as removing or reordering tasks, it will disable the functionality of the system. Users can add additional Task Groupings to customize the remaining project to pertain to the firm’s internal processes.
Tasks
Additionally, depending on the project type, the system also requires specific tasks and task items in that group in a certain order. Additional Task Groupings and Tasks following the Data Collection Task Grouping can be customized to internal processes and procedures. In the project, Tasks within the Data Collection Task Grouping can be assigned to Plan Contacts by using Unassigned as the task role assignment. Required Tasks and order for Annual Administration and General Web Collection Project Types can be found below:
Annual Administration
Annual Administration projects that require Web Collection must include the following Tasks within the Data Collection Task Grouping. These Tasks must be in the order below and titled exactly as listed. General Web Collection
General Web Collection projects that require Web Collection must include the following Tasks within the Data Collection Task Grouping. These Tasks must be in the order below and titled exactly as listed. - Collection Request Notification
- Questionnaire
- File Collection
- Approval and Submission
- Review submitted information
Requirements
For users to access the project on PlanSponsorLink on their My Active Tasks tab, there are a few items that need to take place to enable that access. These include project task completion, PSL access, and Website Rights.
Annual Administration
- The Census Request Sent Task must be completed.
- This Task can be completed by sending a Blast Email with a Census Request Mailing Type. Click here for more information.
- PSL must be enabled for the plan on the General Plan Information screen.
- The contact who is to access the project on PlanSponsorLink must be assigned a Plan Contact Role on the Plan > Contact Roles menu and assigned the appropriate Website Rights.

General Web Collection
