Website Rights for Plan Contacts will control the amount of access to plan information that the contact has on the PlanSponsorLink (PSL) website.

 

Tier Availability: Essential, Premium, Team, Business

Add-On Availability: PlanSponsorLink

Security Rights Required: Add/Edit Plan

  Note: Some items may not be available in all tiers.

 

Website Right for Contacts

The Website Rights are assigned to a Plan Contact on a per plan basis. They help to maintain control over important plan information and documents.

Note: PSL Enabled must be set to Yes on the Plan's General Plan Information screen in order to assign Website Rights.

 

Assign Website Security Rights:

  1. Use the search bar in the upper left corner in PensionPro and search for a Plan.
  2. Select the Plan and select Contact Roles.
  3. Hover over the Plan Contact and click the Edit icon.
  4. Click the Website Rights dropdown to add web security rights.
  5. To add a security right, simply select it from the menu and click Save.
    • All security rights can be added by selecting Add All Rights.
  6. To delete a security right, click the x next to the security right.
  7. Click Save.

Users can also assign Website Security Rights for multiple plan contacts at once using the Website Rights Power Tool.

 

Delete Website Security Rights:

  1. Use the search bar in the upper left corner in PensionPro and search for a Plan.
  2. Select the Plan and select Contact Roles.
  3. Hover over the Plan Contact and click the Edit icon.
  4. Click the Website Rights dropdown to add web security rights.
  5. Click the x next to the security right(s) to be deleted.
  6. Click Save.

Users can also delete Website Security Rights for multiple plan contacts at once using the Website Rights Power Tool.

 

Website Security Rights Definitions:

  • Add/Edit/Delete Fiduciary Documents*: Gives contact the right to add, edit, and delete fiduciary documents on PSL. These will appear under the Documents tab on PSL.
  • Administrative Forms*: Gives the contact the right to view administrative forms for that plan on the web. These are the documents are posted under the Admin Forms tab in PensionPro. They will appear under the Documents tab on PSL.
  • Approval: Gives the contact the right to approve and submit the data collection project on PSL. 
  • Businesses: Gives contact access to the Businesses step in the data collection project on PSL.
  • Contacts: Gives the contact access to the Contacts tab, as well as the Contacts step in the data collection project on PSL.
  • Distribution: Gives the contact the right to the Distribution information on the website. This is where the plan sponsor will access distributions. If this right is turned off a Plan Sponsor will still see the distribution tab, but they will not be able to see the individual distributions.
  • Employee Census: Gives the contact the right to edit the employee data in the data collection project on PSL.
  • Employer Census: Gives the contact the right to edit or complete the General, Company, Family, Plan and 5500 steps in the data collection.
  • General Web Collection: Gives the contact the ability to access and complete tasks in a general web collection project. (Web Collection Projects)
  • Plan Documents*: Gives the contact the ability to view all documents listed under the Files tab in PensionPro. They will appear under the Documents tab on PSL.
  • Principals: Gives the contact access to the Principals step on PSL.
  • Projects: Gives the contact access to the Projects tab on PSL.
  • Reports: Gives the contact the right to view any reports, such as year-end reports. They will appear under the Documents tab on PSL.
  • View Fiduciary Documents*: Gives the contact the right to view fiduciary documents on PSL. These will appear under the Documents tab on PSL.
