11/9/2018: PensionPro version 1.30.1.1

This article contains a brief description of the tweaks and fixes in version 1.30.1.1.

New Features

  • File Merging: Business Tier users can now create merged forms using Plan, Project, Proposal, and Distribution data in PensionPro.

*The Merge Documents feature has been Pre-released to allow users time to update Project templates with Project fields and create\import any existing Word document templates that are currently being used.  Additional enhancements will continue to appear through the final release in early December.

PlanSponsorLink.com Enhancements

Data Collection

  • Added Show on PSL field to Employee Plan Roles
  • Removed the requirement to name the census import sheet “Employees”
  • Added new Collection Fields to the Census
  • Changed the “Thumbs Up” Approval step to match other Data Collection Steps on PSL
  • Update the Business step of Data Collection
    • Change the “Has employees” label to “Does company have employees”
    • The “Does company have employees” task includes a Yes/No dropdown menu instead of a checkbox
    • Qualified Plan Sponsored question was moved under the Does company have employees question
  • Updated the Company Step of Data Collection
    • An Entity Type value is required
    • Display Company Name above Employer Identification Number
    • Updated the NAIC code hyperlink
  • Display Web Collection Step Completed By

Distributions Tab

  • PlanSponsorLink sorts distributions by active first and then by Last Name alphabetically
  • The Distributions tab will only have a Search view preference enabled to assist with locating specific distributions

Secure File Exchange

  • The file name for Secure File Exchanges has been added to interactions in Workflow
    • This will be added to any previous interactions as well
  • If deleting the last contact on any interaction, this will delete the interaction itself
    • A prompt displays advising the user that the interaction will be deleted
  • An Incoming Expiration Days preference has been added under the Secure File Exchange preference type for
    • This is for files incoming from PSL and the default setting will be Never
    • Users have the option to also choose 7, 14, 30, or 90 days
  • All Auto Archive buttons, tabs, and functionality has been removed
  • All existing archived Secure File Exchanges without an expiration will be set to expire in 90 days (maximum allowed).
  • When sending a Secure File Exchange and the Cancel button is pressed, the user will now receive a warning message requiring confirmation they would like to cancel

Industry Bulletins Tab

  • Added a PensionPro preference under the PlanSponsorLink preference type for users to select how the Industry Bulletins tab and page is titled
  • Update PlanSponsorLink to read from the new preference instead of the static Industry Bulletins label

PensionPro Enhancements

Data Collection

  • The Project > Data Collection tab now displays additional data collection tabs to the left side of the screen for Annual Administration Data Collection projects.
    • A lock button has been added to each tab, allowing users to complete or unlock Data Collection steps for completion on PlanSponsorLink.
    • On the Data Collection > Request tab, users can download a report of the data collection similar to the Data Collection report for Plan Sponsors on PlanSponsorLink.com.
    • Users can track completion dates for each step of data collection on the Data Collection > Approval tab.

This article contains a brief description of the tweaks and fixes in version 1.29.1.22. 

Tweaks and Fixes 

PensionPro: 

  • Blast Email: Resolved an issue where Merge Fields for Project fields that had bold, italic, or underlined formatting would cause an error when sending Blast Emails. Users can now successfully send Blast Emails where Project Field Merge Fields have bold, italic, and/or underlined formatting.
  • Plans: Resolved an issue where users could import Trust ID numbers with the Client/Plan Import template with less than 9 digits. The template now requires that Trust ID values be numeric and contain 9 digits in the format of “xxxxxxxxx” or “xx-xxxxxxx.”
  • Plan Cycles: Resolved an issue where importing Plan Cycle data would switch the values for the Total Participant Count - EOY and Total Active Participant Count – EOY once imported into PensionPro. Importing Plan Cycle data will now have the correct values populate in PensionPro for Total Participant Count - EOY and Total Active Participant Count – EOY fields.
  • Projects: Resolved an issue where users could create two project templates with the same name. Projects with the same Project Type must now have different names.

API:

  • Download File ID: Added endpoints for Download File ID and File Name Override.

Tweaks and Fixes 

PensionPro: 

  • ftwilliam.com Integration: Resolved an issue where the API key could not be left as blank.  The API Key may now be blank which will result in the integration being unverified and disconnected.
  • Notes: Screen would refresh without the Loading Notes Spinner displaying. The busy spinner will now display during the refresh of Notes.
  • Blast Email: When using the Project Period End merge field in the Subject line, 12:00 a.m. would also appear. This merge field has been corrected to only display the date when used in the Subject line.
  • SalesPitch Conversion: When converting a proposal, if on the conversion the “create plan in ftwilliam.com” was chosen as Yes, plans were not linking to ftwilliam.com. This has been corrected and converted plans will now display in PensionPro as well as ftwilliam.com
  • Merging Firms: When Secure files were merged from one firm to another, the expiration date was not transferring with the file causing invalid reminders to be sent. This has been corrected so that when firms are merged the secure file expiration date will transfer preventing the invalid reminders to be sent.

PSL:

  • Inactive Contact: When a 5500 signer was marked as inactive, they could still sign into PSL and the “sign 5500” button would still display. This has been corrected so that any inactive contacts will be unable to login to PSL

This article contains a brief description of the enhancements, tweaks, and fixes in version 1.29. 

New Features and Enhancements 

PensionPro: 

  • DOL Express Import: The user can now import their clients and plans with just an EIN and Plan Number. This information syncs with available data from the DOL to create client, plan, employer data, and Plan Cycles in PensionPro for each plan year filed with the DOL dating back to 2011.
  • FTW Express Import: The user can now import their clients and plans with just their FTW API key. This information syncs with available data from the ftwilliam.com to create client, plan, employer data, and Plan Cycles in PensionPro for each plan year filed with ftwilliam.com
  • Projects: The user can now use decimal, integer, and currency data types in project task items in PensionPro. Values entered as these data types will appear as appropriate when entered in the Project.

Tweaks and Fixes 

PensionPro: 

  • Blast Email: Resolved an issue where Project Field values entered with text data types for decimals would be converted to dates when referenced as Merge Fields in Blast Email. Project Field merge fields now display the text as entered in the project.
  • Data Collection: Resolved an issue where PSL users could enter invalid dates in Questionnaire steps of Annual Data Collection and save. This would result in values of “NaNaNaN” on PensionPro for the field. Invalid dates are now cleared if entered on PlanSponsorLink.
  • Event Management: Resolved an issue where users would get an error message stating that “Could not add the event. This Event Configuration has already been assigned to this project” when they would edit a Project Task that was linked to an Event Configuration. Users no longer receive the error message and can save changes successfully.
  • Ftwilliam.com Integration: Resolved an issue where the Integration field would not appear at the bottom of the Client Details or Plan Details screens when the Create Records in ftwilliam.com checkbox was left unchecked on the ftwilliam.com Preferences. The Create Records in ftwilliam.com checkbox no longer controls the ability to view the Integration field on the Client Details and Plan Details screens.
  • Proposals: Resolved an issue where users would edit a Service for a Proposal, but get an error stating that “a service has already been found for this Proposal.” Users can now edit Services for Proposals without receiving the error.
  • Ftwilliam.com Integration: Resolved an issue where the integration between PensionPro and ftwilliam.com was broken due to a change made by FTW. Plans and 5500 signers may now be linked successfully.
  • Projects: Resolved an issue where users could import a project template with a “Semi-Monthly” project frequency and marked “True” for Is Month End. This resulted in monthly periods when the project was launch and the following occurrence of the project was added. When the next occurrences are added, they will be for semi-monthly periods instead of monthly periods.
  • Projects: Resolved an issue where Task Due Dates exceeded the overall Project Due Date, resulting in an error message when users attempted to extend the Task Due Date. Users will now receive a descriptive error message stating that the Project Due Date is prior to the Task Due Date. Users will need to update the Project Due Date prior to updating the Task Due Date in such instances.
  • SalesPitch: Resolved an issue where users would update the Start Date field on the Opportunity > Home Tab, but the Start Date would appear one day later on the linked Prospect > Opportunities grid for the same Opportunity. The Start Date appears as entered on both locations for the same Opportunity.
  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue where employees marked “No” for Show On PSL would not appear on the Secure File Exchange employee dropdown menu. These employees now appear in the Communications > Secure File Exchange grid when clicking the employee name dropdown menu. This article contains a brief description of the enhancements, tweaks, and fixes in version 1.28. 

New Features and Enhancements 

PensionPro: 

  • Plan Year End: The user can now edit the Plan Year End field in Plan Details even if a project or plan cycle has been created.
  • Short Plan Year Ends: The user can now edit both the Period Start and Period End Date in both Annual Administration Projects with web data collection and non-web data collection projects. 
  • Web Collection Annual Administration Projects: The Annual Administration project with web data collection will create a linked plan cycle and employer data records. If any date in either of these linked records is changed then the change will update the project, plan cycle, and employer data respectively.
  • Non-Web Collection Annual Administration Projects: The Annual Administration project without web data collection will no longer create linked plan cycle and employer data records. However, matching plan cycle and employer data records can be created manually, if needed.
  • Non-consecutive Web Collection Annual Administration Projects: If a Web Collection Annual Administration Project is created but the period start date is more than one day past the prior period end date then the data collection information will not rollover.

  • Fees: Resolved an issue where updating the Fee Amount for a Fee Schedule would not display on a Plan’s Fee Schedule once saved. Updated Fee Amounts now display on the Fee Schedule once the changes are saved.
  • Blast Email: Resolved an issue where users would sort by Last Sent in Blast Email and the dates would not sort in chronological order. Sorting by Last Sent in Blast Email now displays in chronological order.
  • Fees: Resolved an issue where undefined errors would appear when editing Fee Schedule Template Items. Validation now states when invalid fee amounts are entered. Validation now stops from adding more figures for Fee Amount. Fee Amount does not allow more than 8 digits.
  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue where users would receive a Session Timeout Notification if they opened Secure File Exchange in a browser and didn’t have any activity for 15 minutes. The session expiration is now 24 hours.
  • SalesPitch: Resolved an issue where the SalesPitch Influencers tab contained a column titled “Contact Grouping” which would pull the Contact Category field in the Contact Details screen. The Influencers tab now contains both Contact Grouping and Contact Category columns that pull from the respective field on the Contact Details screen.
  • Blast Email: Resolved an issue where filters would remain in the Blast Email Templates grid after closing and reopening Blast Email. The filters clear out of the Blast Email Templates grid once Blast Email is closed and reopened.
  • Project: Resolved an issue where users launching Annual frequency projects with overlapping project periods would result in an error stating that “Plan Name - Project Name already exists for with the Period End XX/XX/XXXX.” The error message is now accurate in stating that “Plan Name - Project Name overlaps an existing annual project with a Period End of XX/XX/XXXX.”
  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue where files sent from PlanSponsorLink to an employee in PensionPro would expire.
  • Project: Resolved an issue where users would click near a Task Item checkbox, causing the checkbox to disappear from the Task Item grid. Users would need to close out of the project to have the checkboxes reappear. Clicking near the checkbox would no longer cause the checkbox to disappear.
  • Interaction: Resolved an issue where users would receive an error message upon clicking on a hyperlink within an Interaction on the Interactions tab of PensionPro. The external link will now open in the user’s default browser instead of resulting in an error message.
  • Preferences: Resolved an issue for Team Tier users where the Documents preferences allowing them to change the subject and body of notification emails were missing. Team Tier users can now click Maintenance > Preferences > PensionPro and select Documents from the dropdown menu to control the document notification email template that appears when a document is uploaded to display on PlanSponsorLink.
  • Plan: Resolved an issue where users were able to import values for Trust ID that were less than 9 digits and contained characters other than numbers. The Client and Plan Import Power Tool now requires and identifies that values for Trust ID must be 9 characters and contain only numbers.
  • Plan Cycle: Resolved an issue where numbers in the Plan Cycle > Participant tab would display decimals. These fields now only display whole numbers.
  • Project: Resolved an issue where users could not complete project tasks without dependency of a previous task. Project Tasks can now be overridden without prior dependent tasks completed.

  • Field Update Power Tool: Resolved an issue where a success or failed message was not displayed in the Contact Field Update Power Tool.
  • Project: Resolved an issue where the Period End was not required on a recurring General Web Collection Project.
  • Communication List: Resolved an issue where a user could create two Communication Lists with the same name.
  • Website Rights Power Tool: Resolved an issue where a success or failed message was not displayed when using the Website Rights Power Tool.

  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue that when using Internet Explorer 11 the system was slow or could not archive files in secure file exchange.
  • Projects: Resolved an issue where duplicate extension projects were being allowed to be created.
  • Plans: Resolved an issue where users could not delete a plan that was linked to a secure file exchange.
  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue where expired secure file exchanges were still receiving reminders.
  • Event Management: Resolved an issue where Event Category was not displaying in the Add Event Menu.
  • Projects: Resolved an issue where projects with the same name could be created.
  • Employee: Resolved an issue where Employee login was requiring seven characters instead of six.

PlanSponsorLink: 

  • PlanSponsorLink: Resolved an issue where users were unable to close out of a 5-minute warning reminder pop-up when using Google Chrome or Edge for PlanSponsorLink. Users would click “OK” and the message would reappear. The user had to click “Cancel” which would log them out of PlanSponsorLink. Clicking “Ok” will now remove the pop-up reminder and users can keep working.

Fetch: 

  • Error Message “Unable to find QueryNodeId: 1347016”: Resolved an issue where Fetch was displaying the above error message. 
  • Fetch: Resolved an issue where users would add filters to a query including Plan Date Added, changing the Date Added value to be one day prior to the actual day. Adding filters will no longer affect the Date Added field displaying altered information. Date Added will always read the Date Added displayed in PensionPro on the Plan Details > Home > General screen.

API: 

  • Files: Resolved an issue where users could upload Files through the API and the system would not create links resulting in files that could not be edited or deleted.

  • Secure File Exchange: Resolved an issue where users would receive a Session Timeout Notification if they opened Secure File Exchange in a browser and didn’t have any activity for 15 minutes. The session expiration is now 24 hours.
  • SalesPitch: Resolved an issue where the SalesPitch Influencers tab contained a column titled “Contact Grouping” which would pull the Contact Category field in the Contact Details screen. The Influencers tab now contains both Contact Grouping and Contact Category columns that pull from the respective field on the Contact Details screen.
  • Blast Email: Resolved an issue where filters would remain in the Blast Email Templates grid after closing and reopening Blast Email. The filters clear out of the Blast Email Templates grid once Blast Email is closed and reopened.
  • Project: Resolved an issue where users launching Annual frequency projects with overlapping project periods would result in an error stating that “Plan Name - Project Name already exists for with the Period End XX/XX/XXXX.” The error message is now accurate in stating that “Plan Name - Project Name overlaps an existing annual project with a Period End of XX/XX/XXXX.”

  • Secure File Exchange: When searching for a Contact in Secure File Exchange in PensionPro the email address will now be displayed if the contact has an email address. If no email is present then MISSING EMAIL ADDRESS will be displayed.
  • Secure File Exchange: This new feature allows users to upload multiple files to multiple contacts. It also allows user to set Expiration Dates, Notifications, and Reminder Frequencies. Users can now create customized Emails, Notifications, and Reminders. 
  • Event Management: This new feature available for our Business tier allows clients to track the events that drive the deadlines for Plans. Here users can create, monitor and control a standard set of events that are tied to Projects Tasks in PensionPro.

  • Census Import Column Mapping: Added functionality to PSL that allows users to map columns found in their import that do not directly match to columns in PensionPro. This functionality is controlled by a PensionPro preference found under Preferences\General\PlanSponsorLink\”Census Import Column Mapping”.
  • PSL Usability Enhancements: Added new functionality that enables users to change the way their data is displayed in PSL. The existing view, called “Grouped,” is the default, with the addition of a “Search,” where users can select the amount of data to display per tab and a search bar to allow for more specific searching of items within PSL. For the Plan Sponsors, there is a new “User Preferences” section within PSL to manage the way their data is displayed. This preference may also be modified within PensionPro in Contact Details slider menu with the “PSL Data Display Type” and “PSL Default Page Size” selections.
  • Employee Census Import Formula Check: Improved Census Import functionality to match all other imports inside of PensionPro. Spreadsheets that contain formulas will not be imported, instead an error message will return with cells that need to be modified to remove formulas to import successfully.

  • On-Hold Enhancements: New enhancements have been added to Plans that are on-hold. Now, when accessing Plan Details or Task Details for an on-hold Plan, the user is notified that the Plan is on-hold. This does not prevent the user from making any changes.
  • Database Load Balancing: Back-end database updates to improve performance for current users and support increased scalability.
  • Additional DOL Fields: Additional DOL fields have been added to Plan Cycles that will auto-populate with data from the DOL for years after 2010.
  • SalesPitch Conversion Tool: SalesPitch users can now easily migrate SalesPitch data from SalesPitch to PensionPro. The new conversion tool facilitates converting SalesPitch data, combined with data from the DOL, to create new a new Client and Plan in PensionPro.  
    • New Clients will retain the address, phone number, and an employer data record for the most recent year.
    • New Plans can retain contacts, investment providers, services, and fee schedules from SalesPitch, based on selections made during the conversion process.
    • New Clients and Plans can be automatically created in ftwilliam.com during the conversion process.
    • Plan Cycles created during the conversion process will be auto-populated with data from the DOL.
    • A new Security Right has been added to control which users are able to use the conversion tool in order to protect data integrity.
  • SalesPitch Blast Email Types: Added new Blast Email Types for SalesPitch Prospects and Proposals. Using these Blast Email types, users can use merge fields, data filters, and selections with SalesPitch data.
  • Plan Cycle Fields in Fetch, Power Tools, and Blast Email: Additional Plan Cycle Fields added to PensionPro in Release 1.25 have been added to Fetch, Power Tools, and Blast Email.

  • Deleting a Contact: Addresses an issue where a Contact could not be deleted and there wasn't an error message.
  • Multiple Plans Created: Fixed a bug where more than one Plan was created when clicking the Save button more than once when creating the Plan.
  • Blast Email Interruption: Addressed users being able to interrupt the sending of Blast Emails by selecting different tabs within Blast Email while sending. Added a cancel button to allow users to stop sending Blast Emails once started.
  • Plan Cycle Tab Missing from Annual Administration Projects: Fixed a bug where Annual Administration Projects without Web Collection were created without their corresponding Plan Cycles being created. This has been addressed for all future and past Projects that met this criterion.

    • Create new Clients, Plans, and Contacts in ftwilliam.com via the PensionPro user interface.
    • Link existing Clients, Plans, and Contacts between applications.
    • Enable government form data to be automatically updated in PensionPro.

  • Important Note Identification: New functionality allows for marking notes as “Important”. Important notes are sticky and will stay at the top of the list of notes.
  • Note Counts: Added note counts to Notes tabs throughout PensionPro. The count is updated whenever new items are added or removed.
  • Additional Blast Email Selections: Increased available selections and filters for Blast Email queries, including Plan Contacts, Census Request, Census Remainder, General Web Collection Request, General Web Collection Remainder, and General Web Collection Satisfied/Unsatisfied items.
  • Plan Contact Role Power Tool: Added functionality to remove Plan Contact Roles through the Power Tool in order to bulk delete Plan Contact Role records.
  • Additional Fetch Query Selections: Fetch queries can now support selections that include Communication Lists.
  • Temporary Files bin emptied upon Exiting PensionPro: When a user exits PensionPro, any files that have been downloaded during that session are automatically deleted from the local machine.

PlanSponsorLink:

  • Terms of Service in PSL: Added a Terms of Service popup that, if activated, requires PSL users to accept the Terms before accessing PSL. Once the Terms are accepted, end users will not have to accept the terms again, unless an update is made to them. The contents of the Terms of Service are added through an HTML editor and can be formatted as desired.
  • Census Scrubbing in PSL: Added the ability to turn off validation of testing rules in PSL when updating the Employee Census step. Validation will always be enforced in PensionPro, regardless of this setting.

 

Tweaks and Fixes

PensionPro:

  • Document Specifications Import: Fixed a bug that allowed users to select the ‘Finish’ button during an import that gave the impression of executing the import but in reality did not.
  • Generic Error when Adding Distribution: Fixed a rare issue during adding a Distribution that displayed a generic error to the user without adding any context or solution.
  • Blast Email/Power Tool Filter Selections: Removed invalid scenarios that were allowed in Data Filters for Blast Email and Power Tools.
  • Confirmation Message when Removing Completion Date from a Task: Made the wording more concise when removing the Completion Date from a Task.
  • Drag and Drop Interactions from Outlook: Resolved an issue regarding interactions not importing contact information.
  • Document Specifications Import Errors: Fixed a problem that was seen during Document Specification import where columns that were included in the import were still being validated and prohibited users to continue importing.
  • Dashboard Location Restriction: Fixed a loophole that allowed users to access Plans in unauthorized locations.
  • Global Employee Census Import Failure: Fixed a bug where attempting to import a Global Employee Census spreadsheet with duplicate columns failed without any error message.

PlanSponsorLink:

  • Data Collection Task Assignment: Fixed an issue where assigning some Data Collection tasks to a worktray prevented it from displaying in the portal.

Fetch:

  • Fetch Not Honoring Filters: Fixed a bug where filters were not always honored in Fetch.
  • Payroll Frequency Selection in Fetch: Added a missing Payroll Frequency selection.

 

 02/16/2016: PensionPro version 1.23 & Fetch version 1.13.1

This article contains a brief description of the enhancements, tweaks, and fixes in version 1.23.5.5.

NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS

PensionPro:

  • Time Filters: New Time filters have been added at the top of the Time Entry and Review screen to help with viewing time. Time can be filtered by today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month in addition to custom ranges.
  • Time Entry Start Time: Time can be added from the beginning of a work day based off of a selection by the user. The start time selected will default once selected but is available for edit.  The Add Time Slip slider will reflect the amount of time that has elapsed since the last entered time slip based off the start time entered by the user.
  • Time Entry Set Time Worked: A Set Time Worked button has been added to the Add Time Slip slider that allows the user to select the elapsed time since the last time entry based upon the current time and start time.  This is an optional election by the user.
  • Time Weekly Summary: Feature has been moved to the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
  • Time Slip Population when adding time from a Project Task: The tool has been improved to run faster when adding time from a project task.
  • Time Entry Shortcut <Ctrl>+<T>: When adding a Time Entry, the shortcut now auto fills the Time Entry slider when on a Plan, Project, Task Grouping or Task.
  • Project Deletion: A new field called “Marked for Deletion” has been added and can be set from the Project Summary or from the Project Field Update Power Tool. Using this field will immediately make the Project available for deletion on the Maintenance\Data Deletion screen.
  • Census Import by Plan Name: Census import through the Import Power Tool can now be done by Plan name as well as TPA Plan ID.
  • Gross Compensation Collection Field: Gross Compensation Collection Field is a new field added to the list of all collection fields in the Workflow Preference Maintenance\Collection Fields. This addition is defaulted to not be displayed and must be added by the user to the current Collection Fields.  Changes made to Collection fields immediately display on PlanSponsorLink.
  • Power Tool Selections: Increased available selections and filters across all Power Tools.
  • Primary Investment Provider Field: A field was added to the Plan Investment Providers screen indicating the primary Investment Provider. This field was added to allow the Investment Provider to be displayed on the Dashboard.  If a Plan has multiple Investments listed on the Plan Investment Providers screen, only the one marked as Primary can be displayed on the Dashboard.  For all non-deactivated Plans with only one non-terminated Investment Provider, the Primary Investment field has been marked as Yes.
  • Exit and Close Message: A confirmation message was added upon exiting the application.
  • Give Feedback: A new dropdown for Give Feedback is now available under the Help menu. Here you can leave feedback for us regarding product features.

PlanSponsorLink:

  • EIN Locking Application Preference: A new feature is available which controls the locking on the EIN field on the second step, or Company step, in the Annual Data Collection project on PlanSponsorLink. The Application Preference can be set by selecting Maintenance\Preferences\Workflow\General from the Application menu. Select Annual Data Collection from the Preference Type dropdown. The last item, Prevent EIN Editing, can be set according the user preference. If the app preference is set to no, it will never lock. If it is set to yes, it will only lock when this field has contains a value. Any changes made to this field will be immediately enabled on PlanSponsorLink.
  • Distribution Application Preferences: Preferences were added to determine whether or not the Distributions tab is visible on PlanSponsorLink. The preference can be found by going to the Application Menu and selecting Maintenance\Preferences\Workflow. From the Preference Type dropdown, choose PlanSponsorLink. The distribution tab will show on PlanSponsorLink based on the following:
  1. If Distributions are disabled on a firm level, the tab will always be hidden.
  2. If Distributions are enabled and the app preference for “Show Distributions Tab” is set to yes, then it will show only when the user logging into PlanSponsorLink has at least one plan with distributions.
  • Industry Bulletins Application Preferences: An app preference was added to hide or show the industry bulletins tab on PlanSponsorLink.
  • Document Grouping on PlanSponsorLink: Documents listed under the documents tab on PlanSponsorLink will now group and collapse based off of plan groupings and the number of plans.

TWEAKS AND FIXES

PensionPro:

  • Password Reset Error: Resolved the issue of attempting to reset passwords that did not meet the specific requirements of the password (3 out of 4 requirements). Reset would error without a message. The error pop up will now provide the correct message.
  • Project Field Filters on Blast Email: All filters except “is equal to” were removed from the project field’s data filters.
  • Employer Data Import: When importing Employer Date from the PPS preformatted Excel Workbooks, an issue has been resolved due to blank sheets within the Excel workbook.
  • Contact Screen Issues: Resolved an issue where the Contact Record intermittently went blank, displaying only the Last Interaction Date, but when clicking to edit, all data was available.
  • Client and Plan ID Length Requirements: Client and Plan IDs now require a minimum of three characters in order to use the search functionality in PensionPro.
  • Plan Termination Fields: The Terminated On and Termination Reason will always be visible on the General Plan Information edit slider, regardless of the plan status selected.
  • Drag and Drop Interactions from Outlook 2010: Resolved an issue regarding interactions not importing contact info from Outlook 2010.
  • Templates Importing without Time Codes: Resolved an issue that allowed a template to be imported without a time code which kept projects from launching.
  • Occasional Error When Adding Time: Fixed a bug that occasionally resulted in a one-time error for users when saving a time slip.
  • Time Code Resetting to Default: Resolved an issue where a manually set time code would reset back to the default when a time slip was being edited.
  • Time Slip - “Save & New” Not Working: Fixed an issue that caused the “Save & New” functionality of carrying over a previous date to default to the current date.
  • Blast Email Not Recording Interactions: Resolved a problem that caused interactions to not be recorded upon sending a Blast Email.
  • Notes - “Show on PSL”: Added the “Show on PSL” checkbox back onto the Project Notes slider.
  • Cannot Delete Project With Time Slips: Fixed a bug that prohibited users from deleting projects when time slips once existed on the project.
  • Assigning To-Dos: Fixed an issue where To-Dos were unable to be assigned from certain areas of the application.
  • Fee Schedule Errors: Fixed a bug that caused errors to display on the Fee Schedules tab on Plans.
  • Interactions Not Dragging Over Properly: Fixed an issue where dragging certain email types from Outlook were not recognized correctly and caused an error to display and Contact information to not autofill.
  • Plan Specifications Screen Problem: Resolved an issue that prohibited users from editing Document Specs in rare circumstances.
  • Error Bin Download Error: Fixed a bug that made it impossible to download certain types of incorrectly labeled files.

PlanSponsorLink:

  • Formatting 5500 Questionnaire: The 5500 questionnaire in the Annual Data Collection was not set up to use HTML. This has now been resolved and is available.
  • General Web Collection Not Closing on Approval Step: Resolved an issue that caused the ‘Sign and Submit Collection’ popup to stay on the display when a Contact with web rights attempted to submit a General Web Collection project. This resulted in multiple notes being sent showing multiple approvals being made.
  • Address Change Email Notification: Fixed an issue that was causing information to be omitted from the Address Change Email Notification in an Annual Data Collection project.
  • Help Tabs Not Displaying: Fixed an issue in PSL that caused the Help Tab to not load and instead display a server error.

Fetch:

  • New Installer: Version 1.13.1 is now available.
  • Export Issue: Some clients were having issues exporting some queries to Excel. This has been updated in the new version.
