Custom Search Text for Clients and Plans (Desktop)

Ever have a client decide to change their company name after you've been working with them for years? You've got "Big Smiles Dentistry" ingrained in your brain, but now, they've changed their name to "Superior Dental Services." It's not easy to snap your fingers and remember that they changed their name. The good thing is that you don't have to.

Security Rights Required: Add/Edit Client, Add/Edit Plan

 

For both Clients and Plans, users can add search text on the Home tab for Clients and the Home > General tab for Plans to help easily locate them when reviewing search results using the Search feature. If a Client or Plan changes names, simply add the old name into the appropriate Search Text field so the applicable Client or Plan will appear when searching by that text string. This will save users an email to other staff or a walk around the office asking who remembers the new name of the Client or Plan.
