Did you know regularly restarting your computer helps to keep the file bin functioning properly? When the File Bin is not fully downloading files and documents, try logging out of PensionPro and restarting your computer.
Troubleshooting the File Bin
Occasionally users may experience a file not downloading 100% and other times the File Bin may read "An Error Occurred." This can be due to a number of different things. Usually, these File Bin issues can be resolved by logging out of PensionPro and restarting the machine.
For users working with terminal services or a Citrix environment, they will want to contact their IT department as a server issue may need to be addressed. There are policies that can be set up that restrict sending file exchanges. Furthermore, antivirus settings can interfere with uploading and downloading files and documents.
Users and plan sponsors may notice timeouts when uploading and downloading files and documents. In this case, it is important for the user and the plan sponsor to whitelist the following addresses:
*.tpaworkflow.com
*.pensionpro.com
*.plansponsorlink.com
I was wanting to know if there was a way to make the File Bin close quicker after uploading a file. It closes very quickly when downloading, making you have to reopen it to get access to the file you just downloaded, but when uploading (and you don't need access to it immediately), there is too long of a delay in it closing.
