Using the ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance (Desktop)

The ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance in PensionPro provides the user with the ability to easily access information in ftwilliam.com. This new feature places a Wolters Kluwer branded button in the header bar of the Clients, Plans, Projects, and Plan Cycles screens. Clicking the button on the PensionPro Client screen will direct the user to the Company in ftwilliam.com. The Plans, Projects, and Plan Cycles Navigation button is a split button giving options to navigate to Plan Documents, Compliance, and 5500 Forms on ftwilliam.com. This article walks the user through activating the Navigation Assistance, as well as using the Navigation Assistance in PensionPro.

 

Tier Availability: Business

Security Rights Required: Maintenance

 Menu:

Activating Navigation Assistance in PensionPro

  1. From the Applications Menu click on Maintenance > Preferences > Integrations > ftwilliam.com.
  2. Click on the Edit button.
  3. Click on the Enable ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance checkbox.
  4. Click Save.

Using Navigation Assistance from Client Details:

  1. From either the Search bar or the Search tab, type in the Client's Name and then double click on the Client's Name in the Client column.
  2. From the Client Details > Home tab, click on the ftwilliam.com button in the right-hand corner.
  3. If already signed into ftwilliam.com, then the user will be brought to the corresponding Company page in the ftwilliam.com website. If not signed into ftwilliam.com, then the user will be brought to the ftwilliam.com login page and once logged in will be taken to the main page in ftwilliam.com

Using Navigation Assistance from Plan Details:

  1. From either the Search bar or the Search tab type in the Plan Name and then double-click on the Plan Name in the Plans column.
  2. From the Plan Details > Home tab, click on the dropdown next to the ftwilliam.com button in the right-hand corner.
  3. Select from either Compliance or Specifications.
    • If Compliance is selected the user will be taken to the Compliance\Tasks page in ftwilliam.com
    • If Specifications is selected, the user will be brought to the Plan Documents page in ftwilliam.com
    • If the Plan is not set up with either Compliance or Specifications, then the link will take the user to the Plan page in ftwilliam.com.

Using Navigation Assistance from Project:

  1. From either the Search bar or the Search tab type in the Plan Name.
  2. Double-click on the Plan Name in the Plans column.
  3. Click on the Workflow tab.
  4. Locate the Project and double-click on it.
  5. Click on the dropdown next to the ftwilliam.com button in the right-hand corner.
  6. Select from either 5500, Compliance, or Specifications.
    • If 5500 is selected the user will be taken to the 5500 information.
    • If Compliance is selected the user will be taken to the Compliance\Tasks page in ftwilliam.com
    • If Specifications is selected the user will be brought to the Plan Documents page in ftwilliam.com
    • If the Plan is not set up with either Compliance or Specifications then the link will take the user to the Plan page in ftwilliam.com.

Using Navigation Assistance from Plan Cycle:

  1. From either the Search bar or the Search tab type in the Plan Name.
  2. Double-click on the Plan Name in the Plans column.
  3. Click on the Plan Cycle tab.
  4. Locate the correct Plan Cycle and double-click on it.
  5. Click on the dropdown next to the ftwilliam.com button in the right-hand corner.
  6. Select from either 5500, Compliance, or Specifications.
    • If 5500 is selected the user will be taken to the 5500 information.
    • If Compliance is selected the user will be taken to the Compliance\Tasks page in ftwilliam.com
    • If Specifications is selected the user will be directed to the Plan Documents page in ftwilliam.com
    • If the Plan is not set up with either Compliance or Specifications then the link will take the user to the Plan page in ftwilliam.com.

    I don't see "Enable ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance" checkbox.
    I do see "Create record in ftwilliams and Update record in ftwilliams"?

    The ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance is available in our Business tier. If you are on our Business tier, you will need to have the ftwilliam.com integration setup and your plans linked in PensionPro. If both of those are true and you are not seeing the enable field, then please submit a ticket. To check what tier your are currently on, please go to the Applications Menu and click Help\About. If you are interested in talking to someone about upgrading, please let us know. Thanks!

    I checked the Help/About and it says "Premium". Does that mean we are in the business tier?

    If you are on the Business tier the Help\About will say Business.

    Okay, so what tier is Premium on ? I only see, Track, Team, & Business listed on the website...

    Same as the above, Premium tier with SalesPitch, and don't see "Enable ftwilliam.com Navigation Assistance" checkbox.

    I have the following question, based on the cost for "Business" advertised on your website and what I am under contract on the "Premium" tier, which cost more per client per year, why wouldn't my more expensive tier include everything such as this new enhancement?
